School Pictures

I don't know how many of you know this, but we are in a homeschool co-op.  In the co-op we get together once a week and have classes.  For the first half of the year we had creative writing and literature.  During the second half of the year we had drama and math.  One of the moms in the co-op had enough ambition to put together a co-op year book.  One of the moms is an amazing photographer and she took pictures of all the kids for the yearbook.  Here are our "School Pictures"

Swan Park

On Friday we had an awesome day.  We went to swan park.  It is amazing.  Hundreds of swans, geese, and ducks gather their to be fed.  It all started one day when a lady was out feeding the birds.  Her backyard is the Mississippi river.  When overhead flew some Trumpeter Swans.  Back then Trumpeter Swans were endangered.  One of the swan flying overhead had been in a zoo and  so had been fed by humans when she saw this lady feeding the birds she recognized what was going on and decided to come down for a snack.  The lady who was feeding the birds ( I can't remember her name.)  had no idea what this huge white bird was.  Anyway,  the word got around the bird community that this lady was handing out free food.  And in 2011 their was over a thousand swans coming to be fed.  In 2012 though their was hardly any snow.  And so the swans figured out that they could migrate.  So now their is only  three or four hundred swans coming to be fed each morning in January and February.  Here are some pictures.  It was soooooo amazing!!!!

Theif!!! Theif!!!

I think that many of you have heard that some scoundrel stole our trampoline mat and springs!  Who does that!?!?  Here is the story.  One day we came home from running some errands and 14 trampoline springs are missing.  Ok this is strange.  Did someone decide that they wanted to decorate their house with 14 trampoline springs?  So my mom looks on craigslist and finds a free trampoline frame and springs and we had to take it all.  So now we have a extra trampoline frame.  No biggie.  There is a scrap metal dude that will come pick it up for freeeee!  When he comes by to pick it up it is gone?  What?  So now people or doing interior decorating with trampoline frames?  Haven't seen this on pinterest.  So we were telling the missionaries how the frame had vanished and we joked that someone was going to wake up with a missing trampoline mat.  Well . . .  the next morning our trampoline mat and the springs were gone.
Since you stole two innocent little boys trampoline please  steal the rest of it.  You have no honor.  Heee Hee Hee!  That is right we will guilt trip you till you die!  Bwahahaha bwahahahaha!

This and That

Even though there is sooo much to blog about I don't like reading or writing long blog posts so this probably won't be that long.  This past week and a half has been CRAZY!  Zak went to boundary waters,  I went to girls camp, and Ella went to the hospital!  Don't worry Ella is fine.  Her kidneys were being lazy so the doctors freaked out and we admitted her to the hospital they monitored her for a couple days and then sent her home with her kidneys ready to stop being a little less like a lazy bum.  Zak had a great time at boundary waters he didn't lose any body parts.  He got to catch fish and eat the fish he caught, camp, be in nature, and have fun!  Girls camp was great.  Geoff had fun while Ella was in the hospital he got to live his dream life bowling, playing video games, and watching movies!  What could a seven year old boy enjoy more?  Tuesday night at 2:30 we Mom woke us up and drove us 30 minutes away from the cities to watch a meteor shower! It was fun!  Then we went and got doughnuts!

Roughin It . . . Not!

This weekend we went to our friend's cabin.  By cabin I mean a sunroom and a trailer.  It was so much fun! We went swimming twice!  There was also an arcade and is there any better place for a Foutz to be than an arcade?  Out of the claw machines we got five balls, two fuzzy dice, and three stuffed animals.  So Dave and Catherine (that is our friend.) also have a older nintendo and mario and if you know my mom and dad you should know that they like mario.  And of course they have a tv.

We also went mini golfing.  It was a hard course!

And to top it off there was a luo.  What a trip!

Pool Day!!!!

You might think that since we live in the land of over 10000 lakes, and a winter that goes below zero that people might not build outdoor public pools.  Well if you thought that, you are wrong!  Lakes are great fun but, it is nice to go swimming in clean water!  And that is exactly what we did today it was sooo much fun!  We went with our birding friend Rebecca and her 5 kids.  There was a lazy river.  How can you ever go wrong in a lazy river?  This pool is so cool!  There was a Zipline!  I have a video of  Zak and Geoff doing it!

We are so proud of Geoff!

We took a lot of pictures at the pool so there will be a 1000 pictures in this post.

Geoffrey loves his brother so much!
