Tuesday, March 11, 2008, was election day. We all went and voted and at about 7:30 Tuesday night the Safford city clerk called gave us the new. Jason was voted into office. He received 1068 of the 1989 votes cast. He needed 51% of the votes to get into office or it would go to the general election in May. Now it time to learn a new job. Jason does not take office until the end of May. Good luck.
