Pool Day!!!!
You might think that since we live in the land of over 10000 lakes, and a winter that goes below zero that people might not build outdoor public pools. Well if you thought that, you are wrong! Lakes are great fun but, it is nice to go swimming in clean water! And that is exactly what we did today it was sooo much fun! We went with our birding friend Rebecca and her 5 kids. There was a lazy river. How can you ever go wrong in a lazy river? This pool is so cool! There was a Zipline! I have a video of Zak and Geoff doing it!
We are so proud of Geoff!
We took a lot of pictures at the pool so there will be a 1000 pictures in this post.
Geoffrey loves his brother so much!
Me and my wonderful mom relaxin'!
This is the rock climbing wall. You climb as high as you can or want then jump in!
Geoff jumping off the diving board!!!
. . .
Now isi there any better way to end a day than with a great dinner? What is a better dinner that some delicious cone of ice cream?!? Nice and messy ice cream.
Yum!
Ella love her daddy so much!
It was such a fun day!

Fossil Hunting!!!
Today's adventure was fossil hunting!! We were going to go to Minnehaha falls today but, considering that the warmest it got today was 70 degrees we reconsidered and went fossil hunting which we were going to do later in the week. We went with our friends the Seldens. We went fossil hunting at Shadow falls this is first time we have gone there. There was sooo many fossils! The falls were teeny tiny. It was fun, even though Ella cried the whole time. At the entrance to the trail there was also this monument to the those who fought in the "World War" it didn't say which world war. It was this tall granite poll with a granite cross on the top. It was really quite tall and slightly random and really cool.
Rocks!! I mean fossils.
And more and more and more!!
It was such a fun day!

Minnehaha Falls
So I decided to do a backtrack pos to May 2014 when we went to minnehaha falls frozen. When we uploaded the pictures off my mom's phone today I decided to post the pictures.
This is my and my LDS homeschool buddy Lydia.
Behind the falls in some places it was slippery and so you could slide down a sheet of icd but, it was hard to get back up.
Aren't the falls beautiful!
This is from behind the falls looking down at the melting ice below. We went down and Geoff actually fell through the ice but we pulled up quickly and he was absolutely fine.
Some of the ice behind the falls looked blue it was sooo cool! This is my and my LDS homeschool buddy Lydia.
The ice/snow was so high high up on this bench!
I also wanted to say that we had the missionaries over for dinner and Elder Rudd ate 14 rolls! 14!

Bird Bird Bird Is the Word!
I do not know if all of you know my Moms love of birds and naturally if a Mom loves birds her kids are prone to love the also. So, yesterday we went birding with our LDS/ homeschooling/ birding friend around lake Como. We saw some really cool birds here are pictures of the birds we saw! We did not take any of the pictures our friend took one of them but the rest were found online.
This little guy we still have not figured out what exactly it is but, I do know one thing this guy is cute!
This beauty is a Baltimore Oriole. We were walking around the lake Como. Zak was walking ahead suddenly he come running back "There is a Baltimore Oriole up ahead I think it might still be there! Hurry!" I go running ahead and, there it is in all it's glory. So us and our friends are standing in the path admiring the bird and a guy comes walking along dressed in a button up shirt and sunglasses "What is it?" he asks "It is a Baltimore Oriole!" "Oh, I thought it was something important." This bird is not rare or anything but, we had never seen it before and it is obviously beautiful!
This is a Cedar Waxwing. It looks so cool! I think it kind of looks like a businessman perching there all regal and important looking. Isn't it pretty!
The last really cool bird we found was a Double Crested Cormorant it was perching in a tree like in this picture. We were walking along and I point out this big black bird siting in a tree so, we pull out our handy dandy binoculars and look in our guide book and what do ya know it is a double crested cormorant! This bird is not rare either but, it is not super common either.
Yesterday was such a great day!!!
